SOKI2U
Soki2u is a loose federation of solo musicians based in UK, France and China. Our first EP, Vortex (2007), won the Bands Unsigned UK Platinum Award and our first album, Seeing Faces (2008), received excellent reviews. It can be heard on www.myspace.com/soki2u; CD Baby, and www.soki2u.com. One of the tracks from Vortex, `Complicated Lustlife` (originally an ambient track by Derek Schuurman, one of the collective`s founders), was remixed by talented New York-based producer and musician Daniel Lee aka The Invisible Kid, into the stomping club track which held the Number 1 slot for almost 6 months on the Dancefix Top 50 Chart! Another of Derek`s tracks, `Madman` (featuring a vocal duet with the brilliant Jane Robins) also hit the Number 1 spot on the Dancefix Top 50 Chart.
